English Test Tuesday 4th June

Next Tuesday (4th June), you are going to do a brief test about vocabulary related to landscapes, clothes and the correct order when you use adjectives to describe a noun.

¡ATENCIÓN! 👀

El próximo Martes (4 de junio) vais a hacer un corto examen sobre vocabulario relacionado con paisajes, ropas y el orden  correcto cuando usáis adjetivos para describir un nombre.

LANDSCAPES (PAISAJES)

The following is vocabulary you are going to learn-revise in class so you must be sure you know it, which means: you know the meaning, the pronunciation, the spelling, how and where to use it in a sentence.

El siguiente es vocabulario que vas a aprender-revisar en clase así que te debes asegurar de que lo sabes, lo cual significa que sabes: su significado, su pronunciación, cómo se escribe, cómo y dónde se usa dentro de una frase.

You are going to do in class various activities related to "landscapes". You might use part of this vocabulary when you come to describe the "team painting" or your individual painting.

Please, pay special attention to keep record of any useful expressions and words we come across in class. 

Vais a hacer en clase varias actividades relacionadas con "paisajes". Podríais usar parte de este vocabulario cuando trabajéis en equipo describiendo un cuadro o en vuestro cuadro individual. 

Por favor, aseguraros de que prestáis especial atención  a la hora de escribir expresiones y palabras que veamos en clase.

In the near future, you are going to learn-revise vocabulary related to "people" so you can use it for the same purpose. 

En un futuro cercano, vais a aprender-revisar vocabulario relacionado con "gente" para que lo podáis usar con el mismo propósito.

UDI 5 : THE TIME MACHINE

UDI 5: THE TIME MACHINE (6th May -  21st June)

1. Listen, read and answer: Looking at art
2. Expressions to describe and express opinions
3. Revise grammar as part of final evaluation (present continous, present simple, past simple, irregular verbs, there is-there are, 5w´s questions and answers...)
4. Revise and add vocabulary as part of final evaluation (describing people, places, actions...)
5. What can you see? Look and talk
6.  What can you see? Think and write. Describe the painting given following the instructions and the script learnt in class (team work)
7. Create your own painting and describe it. (individual work)
8. Diverse worksheets related to grammar and vocabulary

The final mark will depend on your work in class, your practice of speaking English, your homework correctly done and on time, worksheets, your team work to describe a famous painting both written and spoken, your individual creation with the writing describing it. In class, we will work on a script to describe the painting. Your painting will decorate the school walls.

UDI 5: LA MÁQUINA DEL TIEMPO (6mayo-21 junio)

1. Escuchar, leer y contestar: Mirando arte
2. Expresiones para describir y expresar opiniones
3. Revisar gramática como parte de evaluación final (presente continuo, presente simple, pasado simple,verbos irregulares, hay, 5w´s preguntas y respuestas...)
4. Revidar y añadir vocabulario como parte final de la evaluación (describir gente, lugares, acciones...)
5.¿Qué puedes ver? Mira y habla
6. ¿Qué puedes ver? Piensa y escribe. Describe la pintura dada siguiendo las instrucciones y el guión aprendido en clase (trabajo en equipo)
7. Crea tu propia pintura y describela. (trabajo individual)
8. Diversas fichas relacionadas con gramática y vocabulario.

La nota final dependerá de tu trabajo en clase, tu práctica de English hablado, tu tarea hecha correctamente y a tiempo, fichas, tu trabajo en equipo para describir un cuadro famoso tanto escrito como hablado, tu creación individual con la descripción escrita. En clase, trabajaremos en un guión para describir el cuadro. Vuestros cuadros decorarán las paredes de la escuela.
